STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL (PART 1)

MAJLIS PERWAKILAN PELAJAR SESI 2013/2014

Being a student representative council is not an easy task. At first, I don’t know why should I be the one. Just because of my pointer? Or I’m easily move by the other’s words?

“You didn’t know or feel anything about the others unless you try to be in the others shoes”

After being SRC, i got to do many things. Experience many things. Feel everything. HAPPY, ANGRY, SAD, EXCITED...

There will be the time when I’m coming back from some program or activities, crying out loud and throw away my pillows. Kak ija (MASSCOM’s SRC) and Ain Mazlan (SMF President of MASSCOM) were the witness of the scenes.. Hahaha...

FIGHTING in the meeting of SRC is the normal case. Abang Hafizie (YDP 13/14) stated that we must brainstorming all of the the solutions to any problems during the meeting. Everyone could say anything in the meeting. So every of us could know the mistakes.

Time passes without we even notice. We know each other very well. We comforted each other if we missed home so much. Going out as planned or unplanned (shopping, picnic, ‘lepak kedai mamak’, etc) . Even window shopping to release the stress. Being with them, I felt like I have brothers and sisters which I want the most in my life. I felt like a big family.

Some students didn’t care on how we fight for their rights. We took seriously for every complained and advised giving by the students. I remembered when students’ house burned because of short circuit. I felt like crying when I thought about how they may survive because the exam is around the corner. How fatin ( College’s SRC) quickly called college management and some of us (SRC) quickly went to the burning house. Some of us fought with the top management just because the voice of the students are not heard by them.

And I’m very thankful to the students who supported us from their hearts. Once UITM, will always be UITM.
